HALLOWEEN
DANCE: Start thinking
about a costume idea and wear it to our annual Halloween Dance at
Yardley Country Club, 1010 Reading Avenue, on Friday,
October 29 (8:00 p.m.
to 11:00 p.m.). Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes, and we
have had some great ones over the years. Dance to Thriller, Monster
Mash and more great music provided by a DJ. Costumes are optional
but highly encouraged! A cash bar will be available; $15/members;
$20/non-members.
“SAVE
THE DATE” FOR OUR HOLIDAY DINNER DANCE: This
year’s dinner dance, scheduled for Friday,
December 10,
at Yardley Country
Club, will feature music and entertainment by Larry
McKenna, keyboard and
singing artist. Many of you will remember Larry performing for us in
2008 at our Leap Year Party and the great time we had. So look
forward to another fun evening of delicious food, dancing, musical
trivia contests (with prizes!) and audience participation. Maybe
Marilyn and Gus will repeat their duets with Larry! Mark your
calendar and look for more information in the next newsletter.
WEATHER
ALERT: Outdoor
activities are weather permitting. Please call the hotline or check
the website for any last minute cancellations due to inclement

Enjoy
the rest of your summer, and we’ll see you at a Yardley Singles
