A Good Time Was Had By All
“The old saying, “the third time is a charm,” certainly describes our spring picnic. After two picnics with unbearable heat and humidity, we lucked out with a picture-perfect day. Along with the fabulous weather, we enjoyed hotdogs, hamburgers, chicken and
vegetables deliciously grilled by our head chef, Phil, and his
assistants, Gus and Kathy. Thanks also to board members Kathy, Barbara and Natalie for the homemade salads and to the
board members who worked so hard to make the picnic a success. Several members brought yummy homemade desserts to top off the great meal--thanks!
A history of the Yardley Singles Club!
The Yardley Singles Club was organized in 1995 and is well established in the Bucks County area. Many of our members are from New Jersey as well. Ages range from the late 40’s to 70’s, with the majority being in their 50’s and 60’s. We enjoy a wide variety of activities, including dances, parties, and dining. Our most popular event is pizza every Tuesday night at Vince’s in Yardley. For more information, check out the various web page options listed on the left or call the hotline at 215-736-1288.
